| If you are a previous
FAMware customer, this new
version will find and read your existing Family Reunion database. It
doesn't matter which prior version of Family Reunion you have been using,
upgrade quickly and easily, without worry. There is no importing,
converting or re-keying of data.
Note: If you will be installing Family
Software on the same PC that has your Family Reunion database, updating
is simple. The new version simply finds your database. If you
will be installing Family Software on a new PC or a PC that does
not yet have your database, updating is still very easy but you'll need to
copy your database to the new PC. If so, complete instructions are
provided on how to copy your Family Reunion database to use with this new

This new
version still does genealogy, photos, reports, and what it always did, but
is better! It is much easier to use with a new Help system that
is friendlier and more intuitive. This is a complete re-write using new state of the
art languages that run on the .NET Framework, on Windows 95,
98, ME, NT, 2K and XP.
Family
Software is much
broader than Family Reunion was. It is now more of a family oriented system
rather than just genealogy, with several tools for families, such as
Family Calendar, Family Night, Family Reunion, Family Constructor, Family
Relationships, Family Address Book, Family Message of the Day, Family
Seasons Greetings List, etc.
There are
many powerful new features such as exportable reports, a new folders feature, to-do
lists, new easy-to-use database utilities (backup, move, copy, rename,
etc.), date selection from a calendar, add-ins, print preview on
all reports, several new data entry and support windows, plus a whole lot more.
